The state of Rajasthan has experienced rainfall in the past 24 hours. While the winter rains are mainly observed in the northern parts, this time, it is the southern and eastern regions that have experienced good rainfall activities of a moderate nature.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Bundi recorded a good 24mm of rain, Chittorgarh 24mm, Kota 23mm, Udaipur 13mm and Bhilwara 14mm.

These rainfall activities are well above normal levels and can be described as unprecedented rainfall for this region. Average monthly rains in December for most parts of eastern and southern Rajasthan are single digits. In contrast, the daily averages are much lower.

In addition, these parts of the state did not receive as much rain just in December, as in 24 hours, over the past decade.

Regarding the rainfall forecast for this region, some light rains are also expected today. However, from tomorrow, some clearance is expected in terms of rainfall activities.
